Prepare yourselves for me bitching all about Millennials, as I have clearly decided that I am an ageist, and proud of it. So if this age group applies to you, tune out now because you suck as a generation. I think it might be more why(?) not Y, and history will probably prove that in years to come. You see my generation does not get you or your kind, and never will. Even your parents, the Boomers, are wondering what on earth they did wrong? Well the answer is probably Woodstock and all those drugs to be honest. Not to mention being your friend instead of an actual parent did not help matters at all. Even your children are going to grow up to see you for what you really are, so be ready for that, it’s like a train headed down the tracks out of completely control, so get your CBD gummies ready so you can deal from your blanket fort on the floor, surrounded by your participation awards.
Why am I attacking the generation so hard? Well my generation, Gen X, is tired and we are ready to pass the torch. However it seems as if the ones we wish to pass that torch too is so highly incompetent that we can’t. I have read an article in Business Weekly on how Millennials are not equipped for the corporate board meetings, and are Googling terms and meaning of basic every day business lingo like “moving forward,” “touch base,” “circle back,” “low-hanging fruit” and “ducks in a row.” How on earth do you not know what this means? I am fearful of what they even thought the low hanging fruit was; however we all know HR probably got a few sexual harassment complaints since they are all super sensitive anyways. Well news flash you are the low hanging fruit!
This is what happens when you give an entire generation participation awards, they all think they competent and they are not! Sometimes you have to humble them so they can learn who is actually the best, which will indeed give them drive to make themselves better, along with a bar to measure up too. Especially if you had shitty parents that never set a bar to begin with; I mean while Ironman is great; we all don’t have flying suits in our closet, so that can not be your role model. This is where I think the failure of society has all broken down; the reason why we find complacency and messes all the time, with a “who gives a shit” attitude.
We might as well all just be socialist at this point, which I hear the millennials love, but what you don’t understand is along with that you give a fair amount freedom and individualism as well. The very same people I hear griping about wanting things to be equal, are the very same people the bitch when you say “I am sorry you can’t to do that because it makes you different than the normal society rules”. Does that make sense? You can not have it both ways! Either you want conformity where we are all have the exact same, or you want complete freedom to be an individual; but as I see it the actual “Independent” political stand point has not been carved out yet. So which is of the two evils do you choose? Fun musing right? You can not have both, at the same time, history has proven that time and time again. However I think Millennials are wanting to rewrite that as well, but obviously not in cursive as they have no idea what that even is, sadly. Nor can they tell time on a real clock unless it is digital, but that is another set of complaints for another day.
I am really scared for my generation since the Millennials are what is creeping up behind us, the ones that will take the helm supposedly. I feel like Gen X will never be able to retire, or leave the helm unless we just skip the hardheaded, egocentric Millennials, cut our losses and move on to Gen Z maybe, but Gen Alpha they starting to look like a lost cause as well I guess since they are a direct result of the Millenials. Maybe we just need to take the fresh blood under of wings and train them up correctly to change the way of the WHY (Y) generation which is rampantly becoming so sorely incompetent, and sadly their children are tracking in the same way too.
I will share a more person experience that happened recently, an associate of mine which is a Millennial was trapped in a situation, that I will agree could have been life threatening. This individual, a millennial, went into full blown panic mood and spiraled, while the rest of us stepped up and went fight mode for survival. Now I know Flight or Fight is to each his own, and everyone deals differently, but in group of 200 people or so, I would say about 1/3 of us stepped up. Those being in the GEN X age group and even Boomers, while I watched many Millennials including this lady, just flounder and spin out. Unable to cope, suffering panic attacks, just not tough stock at all. To be honest if this had been a real serious threat, say war; or for fun a zombie apocalypse, like they all play on their video games all the time, they would have been the first to die, which works for me, I will throw you to them as bait!
Honestly it puts it into real life scenarios, where this entire group can not deal, and have no real life skills to even try which is so very scary. Then you think they are going to just tax our society because they are completely useless. However they are the ones that hide behind their screens, Trolling people, stirring pots and cause discourse to society that is actually trying to do the right things. All they can do is post a TikTok video on how to prank their spouse and act pretty for the camera, which is all fake. These same “pretty people” that want to influence you and your children, hide behind their computer screens and cast stones at the very people that were out there, boots on the ground saving their butts in this very real situation. It is both sick and sad, and disheartening to think this floundering generation talks big but has not actions in their pockets to pull from. My generation talks the talk and walks the walks every day!
Example they tell you to eat the tablespoons of cinnamon, which is going to hurt you. They challenge you to eat Tide pods, which again is going to kill you, they are IDIOTS! These people are challenging today’s youth to do just that and the Millennial parents are allowing their kids to watch this crap and do not even realize it is happening because the can not even cope themselves. The influencers and bloggers are all fake, nothing real about them, fake photos, fake lives, fake stories, fake credentials and not authentic at all. FAKE, FAKE, FAKE! It is like reality television, FAKE too! It is all staged.
Petty, nasty and hateful, which is the way a Millennial works so I am actually boycotting the generation as a whole, as new found ageist. I refuse to hire, work with or even use services from this generation until they get their act together. I am going to the older guy or maybe choose the younger guy, but not the Millennial. If you are 30-40 forget it! Tough shit Millennials, you had your chance with your cancel culture ideals, you guys drove your bus right off the cliff, I am done with you. I think Hollywood is done with you too, they are striking and hate your ideas too! The new way selling entertainment is making actors lose money. Just go make a TikTok for free and see if anyone pays you, good luck! You are not all predestine to be content creators doing dumb dances on Tik Tok or the next “Jackass”! YOU ALREADY ARE A JACKASS and no one is even looking! Creating AI that is going to run the world and eventually take it over, which will make content faster than you can even blink. PLEASE you can’t even tie your shoes, they are Velcro, this should be good! Prepare for the worlds largest shit show now in living color!
